I had a friend call me a few minutes ago to tell me he saw someone who looked my me.

What an odd reason to call someone.

Missing limb and everything? Or was he calling to let you know there was a guy you could use for spare parts?

Nope.

Actually...

I dunno. Didn't ask. Highly doubtful though as he would have mentioned it. "Tall lanky German looking guy that looked just like you" was all the description I received.

Any of you guys know if this was a real model of headset or which would be the closest to it? Something in the 1999-2002 era, something shitty like that. Wanna do a costume.

Here's what I posted last time I put this up:
So about 11-12 years ago I spent several months making an album, giving copies to a few friends, and then doing nothing else with it. It never went up on the web, and I never got any feedback except from 2-3 friends I gave a copy too - they all seemed to like it.

I stumbled across the physical copy of the CD today while doing some other stuff, and thought I'd see what y'all think of it just for shits and giggles. The name of the album is "A" and the name of the "band" is "Fraggin' Newbies"

Finally, after a decade of silence, here it is. It should make interesting background music while you do other stuff (there are no vocals), so let me know what you think: http://www.sendspace.com/file/2opm1c (dead link)

I'll admit part of my interest in posting this is as part of an internal debate I'm having about whether or not I want to try something similar again...something artistic is stirring in me.
I actually DID do some more stuff at that time, so I probably have enough recorded to also release an EP or two if I were so inclined. I may just sit on them, though, and wait until I have a full album's worth of stuff that I can select from a broader list of finished songs.

In any case, here's a new link to that old 2001 album: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1mwjf6jgnz4im ... 9.zip?dl=0

I only ask that if you listen to consider letting me know what you think. Feel free to share it, too, perhaps I will BLOW UP!

Yes, that style of mic is real. When I worked at Amazon the headsets that came with our phones had that style of mic. No idea where you'd find it.
