Random Gaming Thoughts
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
As of right now, there is no reason (at least for me) to own a current-gen console when I have my PC.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
My PC isn't up to snuff.
For me it's simply the fact that I'd still get more bang for my buck by buying retro games. For $500 I could buy an Xbone and then hope and pray some games are eventually released, or I could instead take that money and purchase a shit ton of retro games from my wishlist.

True dat. Hell, that $500 would even get you a shit ton of PS3/360 games at this point.

For $500 you could upgrade your current PC, or even build a nice budget gaming PC as well. I'm w/ TSTR on this one for sure.BoneSnapDeez wrote:My PC isn't up to snuff.

You know how happy that makes me. I'll go purify myself in the waters of Lake Minnetoka anyday.

True. But with the exception of The Witcher 3 and Wasteland 2 there aren't that many "current gen" PC games I want to play. Still working on a massive Vista/7-era backlog + all the classic DOS stuff. Someday I will upgrade though.noiseredux wrote:For $500 you could upgrade your current PC, or even build a nice budget gaming PC as well. When you do decide to upgrade, be sure to post in the PC Build Thread so we can all endlessly debate what you should put in it.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
can you tell us the specs of your current build? I mean... might be an easier/cheaper upgrade than you realize to get you playing more modern games if you wanted the option.BoneSnapDeez wrote: True.
