Happy Thanksgiving!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

At least to those in the US :)

What all do you have planned?
Any after-Thanksgiving shopping trips?

I'm keeping a eye on the next shipment of Nintendo Wii consoles to hit stores, hopefully black friday.

Besides that, I might goto a local fair.

I'm at my in-laws place right now getting ready for dinner.
Tomorrow, I'm off to my parents' place.

I just browsed through the store ads and I might check a couple places when I make my mail run and if they have the deals left when I get there, so be it.

I noticed there aren't many gaming deals this year.
I was hoping they would have some close-out Gamecube deals.

There are some cheap GBA Micros though

I'm heading off to Sears in the morning to pick up a Famicom Anniversary edition Micro. They had them marked on the shelf for $99.99 reduced to $69.99 and will price match for $31.99. Check your local Sears if you want a Famicom version versus the Black and Silver ones that Walmart and Toys R Us will be offering on sale. The turkey is starting to kick in so I'm off to go take a nap :)

Don't get TOO many -- they will get cheaper still.
I got a 2GB USB drive for about $30 -- and I didn't have to stand in line :)

I've watched Flash memory the last 3 holiday seasons and they always have big price drops around Thanksgiving, the but the prices don't really get back up, but just continue to fall throughout the year.

I'm grabbing a 1GB usb drive tomorrow and thats it. All I have is a walmart here. The $170 PSP does not interest me, and there's no reason to downgrade from my GBASP2 to the GBAMicro for $40.
