Does your state require a photo ID to vote? Don't vote!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Seconded.

Unless that's causing these threads, then stop.

Well, considering he'll already be voting for Ralph Nader...

IMHO it is not unreasonable to require something official and reasonably hard to fake for voting purposes. DL is better than carrying one's SS card or birth certificate around. Now coming up with some other reasonable alternatives would be a good thing.

On a side note, by making individuals pay for their IDs as opposed to providing them for free, that puts the onus for keeping track of it and paying to replace one they lost on the individual as opposed to spreading it around where it would be paid for by everyone with taxes anyway.

 . The shocking thing for me is that you pay for IDs....those cost like what....3$ to make?

You can outsource them to China for them to cost 1$ to make, or to Greece so they are handwritten (it's not common anymore, but seriously my ID is handwritten and the fact that it has a retarded 2 alphabet layout makes it impossible for the people at the airports abroad to read it right away)

BTW stop offering weed to the OP. I think he's still waiting to be old enough to drink alcohol

Oh I'm sure most of the cost is "administrative fees".

Tax agencies have administrative fees too......seriously this should cost like nothing, unless American public services are so inept and unproductive they take the crown from ours.

If theres one thing i hate, its political threads on my gaming websites/forums.

I visit http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/ daily, and at least half the recent forum posts at the top are political.

Can we please not turn Racketboy into that, let this be a place of Gaming news and talk.

Or maybe this kinda stuff can get its own section, like all the drive-bys did with Creator's Corner?
