Well played sir.prfsnl_gmr wrote:You also get a copy of the game...Tanooki wrote:I'm curious about it, but at the same time using that post earlier, I'll be one not contributing towards the 100 or so copies of it that sell. Games like that don't interest me much and one thing I learned well thanks to Nintendo with the Wii, don't buy games just to get more games made as it never works. It's a pure pity screw you end up regretting later as you put out the effort and get nothing in return but regret.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
+1 on Bayonetta demo being awesome. I'm a sucker for most things angel related, so 90% of the enemies were right up my alley. Plus the background track, despite it being just one verse repeated over and over, was pretty awesome.
I played through it once, then I watched a buddy play through it because it was just so beautiful.
I never played the original though lately I've kinda wanted to, so this'll make me happy. I preordered because I'm sure there'll be some sort of swag and even if there isn't, meh. I can afford to buy 1 or 2 good games at release instead of waiting

Well played? Still not interested. I hope something interesting shows up, but thanks to those boneheads the 5.2 firmware torched my WiiU so I got a new one in the mail with all my data gone. I guess if the mood hits now I have a reason to replay the 2 mario games, zelda, duck tales and cod ghosts I had finished and then there's rayman, re: r, and dk tropical freeze too. I'd just like something new and for the system get a fair shake.

Just pre-ordered after reading 10/10 reviews from the two strictest publications I know of - Gamespot and Edge Magazine. Would love to play the demo, but unfortunately filled my hard drive
17gb demo!?
Having played through most of the first game a few years ago, I'm unsure whether to play through the first one and then move on to the second. From the reviews that are out there, Bayonetta 2 seems to make Bayonetta 1 feel dated.

17gb whaaa? I don't remember exactly how big it was, but I'm pretty sure it was under 1...Razzmatazz wrote:Just pre-ordered after reading 10/10 reviews from the two strictest publications I know of - Gamespot and Edge Magazine. Sounds like nintendo of Europe is making them download the entire game... That sucks. Our download was like 1000 mb.

Demo was under 1gb in size for sure. Glad to see the good reviews and will be picking it up for sure.

You seem to have a lot of hardware problems.Tanooki wrote: I hope something interesting shows up, but thanks to those boneheads the 5.2 firmware torched my WiiU so I got a new one in the mail with all my data gone.
