got old anime videos in AVI format?

an odd request: does anyone have any old anime (especially 1980s/1990s) in AVI format? especially stuff you downloaded in the early days of torrenting and p2p?
AVI files with divx encoding and regular mpeg 4 enconding work for me, h.264 DOES NOT.

why do i want such files, you ask?
i got a dvd player yesterday that plays media from SD cards. i know, i just stepped out of the year 2009 or something, right? living on this tiny isolated island, i take what i can get. and that ain't much.

i currently have robot carnival, angel's egg, and devilman. looking for similar, old OVA and one-shot type movies. also other non-anime, nostalgic cartoons are nice too.
share with me please?

Much recent fansub stuff is available in multiple formats, including SD. And if you have Virtualdub you can down-convert stuff that isn't available that way.
