So far i am enjoying it, but I'm only about an hour and change in and thus far nothing of any great significance has happened. It doesn't seem like a First Person Shooter in that...

I've encountered no enemies and not yet held a gun, melee weapon, etc. Also, there's no jumping.

so it is certainly a break with what one might expect to find in genre conventions...

Yeah, though I can't say that there's a lot of tension thus far to the plot. I suspect it will be coming, and the trick will be in seeing how well they marry it to the gameplay.

Also, I can't figure out how to stop holding something I've selected from my inventory, so I am currently running around holding a health needle that I have had no use for yet.
