Finally got a blue shotgun, been starving for a rare special weapon for a while now. Tried the Weekly and got owned. Still haven't come across an exotic bounty.

I hit 26 last night, so I'm doing ok level wise. Also, finally switched out my last armor item for a purple, so now all items are purple.

Hanging out might be more likely on the weekend, because y'all seem to be gone when I get on. Not that it's weird, since I'm PST. Next Tuesday is a lock too if you can stay up late that day.

Yeah, it was my first rare special weapon. It made some of the Queen's missions really tough, because some enemies were only really damaged by certain types of damage and all I had were green specials! I guess I'm just lucky!

EDIT: Might also be because I've not really played Crucible? Might be effecting my odds?

I rarely play the crucible, seems you were just mega unlucky with drops.

Every level up at the Cryptarch you get a package of rare (or better) engrams, amazing you have not scored from them.

That's actually how I got it finally, got 2 shotguns actually, but they were the exact same weapon.

After the long drought I've got a couple nice drops. Last night I got a legendary fusion rifle and an exotic weapon bounty, so that's neat. I'm also only 2 strange coins from having enough to buy some exotic gear fro Xur.

I hit level 28 this morning and other than some interest in trying the Vault of Glass Raid, I am likely going to finally shift my game time attention elsewhere. Really, I mean it.

I am approaching 75 hours in Destiny which is really something, and probably makes it my second most ever hours logged in a FPS behind Borderlands 2 (and all it's DLC). I won't be shocked when that total surpasses B2 with some new content by the end of the year...

Destiny is easily my game of the year so far.

Holy crap the Exotic Bounties aren't easy to complete. I'm on tier 3, which requires I get 500 points by killing dudes in Crucible with void dmg. You get 5 points for every kill, but you lose 2 for every death. I suck at Crucible, so this is gonna take me a while.
