Ordered a game from an Amazon seller. Felt as if it was taking awhile to arrive so I checked the tracking. It's been "Out for delivery (Package has been transferred to the USPS and will be delivered by your local postal office)" since October 2nd. I wonder if it's been lost. Bummer.

Every time I post in this thread I want to do some variation on Carlin's "Describe, in your own words" bit and say "Nigflot blorny quando floon" or something similar for Random Thoughts. Of course, I am not a comedy legend, so it would just fall flat. I thus stick with referencing the masters.

I'm working the evening shift today without staying over onto my normal midnight shift. This is weird, I legitimately don't think I've done this since I was in training on this shift, 3 years ago at this point. Every other time I've come back for evenings on what would be my Friday, I've made sure to also swap with someone on my shift and just worked a double swap.

I'm debating if I want to go out drinking with other people from this shift (since a: it's Friday night and b: they go out drinking basically every night after work anyway, I have no idea how some of them even have money to pay their bills), go out with a friend of mine for a midnight burger or something (I know there's at least 1 bar that serves food not far from work), or just go home and go to sleep or play video games or something.

6 more hours left to debate.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

When using the bathroom, number one or two, my cardinal rule is to not have anything in my hands (aside from the things that are necessary). Taking a piss and get a text message? Leave it in your pocket until you've left the bathroom. I've heard so many times "...and I dropped my phone in the toilet." How the hell do you drop your phone in the toilet? I'll tell you how you DON'T, leave it in your pocket while in the bathroom is how. Yes, when I'm standing at the urinal I can wait the max 30 seconds to finish peeing and wash my hands before I pull my phone out to check a text.

Could you imagine taking a piss and dropping your phone into the urinal? And you know that particular text that you were trying to check was something dumb. It was your friend saying "I just farted" or some one you live with saying "Pick up milk". Totally not worth losing your phone over.

Why do so many people post things on facebook to people who are not on facebook (or the internet in general)?

There were at least thirty replies to a post "Happy two year old Birthday to my little princess *insert name*". The kid isn't old enough to read yet understand what a birthday is besides it includes cake, the kid isn't on facebook, and the kid doesn't care.

I'd understand if the posts included "You must be a proud Mom" or "He/she's gotten so big" but the comments are directed at the Two Year Old. "Hope you have a great Birthday!", and "Happy Birthday, hope it is the best ever!". And yes, someone wished a two year old that her second birthday would be her "best ever!".

Knock on wood, never happened to me. Plus I use a 7" tablet to post and poop simultaneously. Be kinda hard to drop that one in the toilet.

Also, sometimes I pee sitting down. Not ashamed.

Because Facebook is like distilled internet stupid mixed with social cliquishness.

Honestly now that i'm older, I realize the irony in the whole thing, and especially that sentence. Now I'm just wondering what the heck people are thinking by wishing that(since you honestly hope that each birthday is better than the last, and I still think birthdays are somewhat special as long as people don't go crazy). I guess it's just the thought of it though(though it is cute when the parents post a video of the kid saying "thanks" in some way, and don't you even try to deny that, that's cute..)
