But when you have people doing rarity vidoes, or stuff talking how cheap you got something and how much it goes for, stuff that puts the money in the foreground directly or semi-directly I take issue with it.
Isn't that what this website does with their rarest games articles?

I can still say I hate it because I hate all reality tv though right?
Reality tv doesn't exist. Except for those shows that do cold readings. Doesn't get more real than "Did your mother wear a ring?".

I was pretty enthusiastic about his videos at a younger age when gametrailers was my source of video game media and binge watched his earlier videos, but now I feel he's sort of spread himself thin. The realization that I just didn't really care for his videos anymore really hit home with me when I watched his new movie. I agree that he's a talented and passionate individual, and I think it's more so how my interests, and sense of humor have changed, but his jokes feel repetitious and annoying after so many times of hearing them. Definitely appreciate James as an individual, but find the AVGN act a bit tiresome now.

Well does this site do that? :P I just really use the forums.

I dislike reality tv to be straight with it. The only show I do like to follow is the Amazing Race because while it is cut for TV, it's not really scripted other than the challenges. You have no idea who will have a blown engine, flat tire, sunk boat, get hurt or break a bone, illness, nasty fights, missed trains planes and automobiles. It's just random enough it's worth it, plus seeing all the locations is nice too.

I did watch survivor in the very first season, refused to watch it since as it's so full of crap.

Dude. No.

Every tear, every smile, every story is usually scripted.

For that X-Files crossover episode, I'd say yes.

I watched the movie and it was pretty much just all the things I dislike in his videos.

The amazing race isn't scripted, it can't be due to the randomness of what can happen on the abilities of the players to the crap that can go wrong in transportation too. What is scripted are the sappy stories and the cheesy music when they talk up something, or how they always seem to have an old/young group, a pair of lesbians or flamboyantly gay dudes, someone with a disability or cancer and stuff like that. Its not like CBS can call ahead and make sure a flight is delayed or a fool misses a ride, or a car gets a flat.

You Know What's Bullshit is back with a vengeance. Three episodes in the last couple of weeks. I'm loving it.
