Re: Borderlands: The Pre-sequel Thread
I'm looking forward to it, but it'll take awhile to get around to.
I'd also like to play this one right. I've never been able to get a full party together for the entire game before.

So I wont be buying it on launch. Ive got too much in the pipe right now to justify it. But I am still super excited. I really hope they fix the bug with four player voicechat.

I'd love to get this, but I'm afraid I'll have the same problem as with the other two games- not having anybody to play with. That's always been a problem for me.

They'll just bogart the good guns anyway. I won't have anyone to play with cause everyone here waits a month or two before buying anything.Forlorn Drifter wrote:I'd love to get this, but I'm afraid I'll have the same problem as with the other two games- not having anybody to play with. Eh, I've always just felt this a game that needs multiple players. Single player isn't nearly as fun to me.MrPopo wrote: They'll just bogart the good guns anyway. I won't have anyone to play with cause everyone here waits a month or two before buying anything.

agreed. I've tried playing both games solo, and I just don't get even CLOSE to the same thrill out of it that I get from muliplayer.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Eh, I've always just felt this a game that needs multiple players. I'm the opposite - I find the exploring I enjoy doing and the strategic gunplay choices I make work best solo. Multi is also fun, just diff.noiseredux wrote:agreed. Re: Borderlands: The Pre-sequel Thread
I'm with dsheinem...single player is an absolute blast. I've never found multi in Borderlands to be much fun...it's basically more opportunities to heal, more quantity (but not quality) of loot, and no change in the core game structure beyond more enemies and harder enemies. Your individual choices have much less of an effect on your progress when you've got three other people on your side.
That's part of the magic of this series though...there's something for a lot of different people, and so many ways it can be played.
