Chea, I won't be reviewing any Konami for a while, that's for sure. The only only copyright claim I've ever gotten beforehand was for a video on Gradius III. That was because the Konami logo showed at the start

The voice came from a four year old card from Hallmark (seriously, people paid seven bucks for a card four years ago?) so the voice was very "electronic" sounding, if that makes sense.

Well, I didn't know if like the batteries were dying in it or something. And yeah, Mr. Rogers was an A+ dude.
Interesting. So Konami is stopping you from showing cutscenes in a game that came out over 15 years ago... It's available on PSN and supposedly has a movie in the works, but this still just seems pointless to me.
Eh, who knows, maybe they'll put copyright claims on Castlevania or Silent Hill footage next.
Personally I think cease and desist orders are awesome and frame worthy. This I am not kidding about.
I don't know. I really don't. People steal jokes right and left, and sooner or later they pay up for it. It's very much "Simpson's Did It!". I don't think people should be able to coin a phrase, but credit is due and such. It always goes back to the adage that a good artist copies, a great artist steals.
And you also have the phrase "imitation is the best form of flattery". Intellectual Property is so interesting that sometimes I think should pursue a career as an intellectual property lawyer. I love Lucas Arts, but if you don't think they sue people over "laser swords" you'd be surprised (toys...that's where the money is).
Again, I don't know. Everyone has thought "I thought of that first". Can of worms it is.
On SNL a young and gifted comic poised the question "How much money would it take for you to give a blow job?". I had a similar run, but didn't think "This guy stole my stuff" as he didn't. He had a similar thought and ran with it.
Well, layoffs have officially begun. Apparently they're going division by division, so right now we're not getting any, but folks in other departments we work with are doing theirs today. Lovely.

This has been going on for entirely too long. Can you not ask someone "What's sup?". If you ask "Should I be concerned about my employment?" and get a "Dunno", get on your job hunt.
