Meh, not a very good joke. Try harder next time. Especially since the first post sounds exactly like a variety of things you do in your own life that you've posted in this thread.

:D Got to spend a big chunk of the day with my lady, and another chunk of it editing video, but most importantly, not very much of it doing homework.

:( Got a copyright claim from Konami (for cutscenes shown in my MSG video).

Smile - I made an monster:

A 27 inch Viewsonic LED LCD monitor fits inside an Astro City. And when playing games remastered for 16:9, as seen in this version of Metal Slug 3, or play games made for 16:9, below, it is pretty awesome. There is a solid 26 inch view area for 16:9, and 22inches for 4:3 games. It also has a Lepai 2020A+ hooked up to the original speakers. This is a temporary setup because I have had no luck getting a replacement monitor locally, but should be getting one shipped to me by the end of the year. But we are hosting a dozen parties by year end, so I needed something in the gaping maw of the Astro.

And no it is not finished, It needs to actually be mounted, not just held in there with cable ties and an industrial bungee cord. It will also get a secondary shroud around it to hide the monitor bezel.

Now I just need an interface and new buttons in the cp.

Ticked - Genndy Tartakovsky is delaying any chance for a Samurai Jack movie

Ya know he's also doing HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA as well, right? I actually mention both movies in the last RB podcast as I think both have the potential to make for phenomenal video games. Really excited about the movies, and with Charlie Brown also coming out at around the same time, it should make for a great Summer of family friendly movies.

:D - my package I sent off to elricorico finally made it there despite the USPS incompetence to scan the stupid thing as it was transported(I know I just posted about this but it deserved to be posted here because I was really starting to get worried I was going to have deja vu of when I last tried sending someone something even if I did it right this time)

 - my manager didn't bother to call or show up last night and i ended up having to stay 3 hours after I was scheduled off I think I won't be waking up until time to go to work thanks to him and for making sure I was there late without anytime to spare on the work week we just started(usually I have a few hours before hitting 40 so I won't have to cut hours but it looks like that was shot out the window with the first hours of the new week today :| )

Smile: I woke up to the hum of lawnmowers and a familiar voice saying "No matter what you do today, or where you go, remember that you are special".

Same voice, same phrase, over and over and over.

Mister Rogers, or his ghost, was somewhere in my bedroom. And he was.

After a few minutes of searching, I found a card my wife had in her dresser with four quotes from Rogers, which was on the fritz.

As creepy as it was, it was actually a nice way to wake up.
