MAGFest arcade area (Wedoca)

Got back from MAGFest after helping out run the arcade area. I was able to bring up 10 cab's and arround 100 PCB's. The pic's are only the Wedoca's half of the arcade area. Someone else brought a lot of classic woodys in varing condition that can't be seen from the photos. Anyone on this forum would apperciate the con since it focuses on gaming (plus you can meet me!). The cab's we had were: 3 New Astro Citys, 2 Versus Citys, 2 4-slot MVS "big red's", a Naomi Universal upright, a Konami 4-player woody and a Capcom 6-button woody.

Added bonus, I picked up a very clean Capcom Impress w/ Double Dragon for free!

Mag was in Alexandria, VA.

I do not know of any relations with DoD (Dept. of Defense or Disciples of Doom?)

Wedoca is based in NC. Our big con game room we run is at Animazement. I just got word that we picked up another candy cab, this time a Namco Exceleena.

The DoD I was referring to is Dwelling of Duels. http://dod.vgmix.com apparently had their December contest at MAG Fest... I thought it might have been one in the same.

I so wanted to go to this convention. I've never been to one and it was pretty close to me. Do you guys recommend any other amazing video game conventions on the east coast?

For game tournaments, I reccomend Final Round in ATL or NEC in Philly. For game conventions, I like Animazement (save the anime part). But I run the game room there so I'm biased. I hear there is something brewing in Atlanta later this year though...

Anyone got intel on Philly Classic? I've never been but I heard it's like a flea market.
