LoL, the nature of my childhood was pretty rough but Halloween and Xmas were usually a special time.

After my last blog entry I though I should really do something a bit more upbeat.

Haha, whoops! I was referring to Jrecee's choice of Friday the 13th NES. Sorry about that!

I have fond memories of a few games associated around Halloween.

- Playing World of Warcraft during holidays with buddies has been something I've enjoyed. There's enough content and ambiance surrounding the in-game events and decor that make it feel excellent. Everyone riding around on brooms, etc.

- Animal Crossing's Halloween events are great.

- Zombies ate my Neighbors has been one I've fired up on Halloween or the season.

- House of the Dead 2 / Typing of the Dead, either is great.

I realized that Majora's Mask in a way is the perfect game for Halloween. It's dark and creepy, and it has a strong focus on masks that you can wear.

Ghost Trick is another game that comes to mind.

Also semi-related, but when it comes to autumn in general I think of Metroid Prime. Not too sure why that is.

From what I've played of MM on VC i have to agree(though I can't stand using the classic controller since there's no satisfaction of putting a cart in but I don't own the cart :| ). Also have to second Ghost Trick, it's not horror by any means but the ghost portions and atmosphere make it feel Halloween-y I ought to get the ds version so I can play it since capcom will be too lazy to ever update it for iOS 8 knowing my luck....
