Re: Sierra PC Game Collection - Big Boxes
Big boxes are fun. Many of mine succumbed to culling as well, but I have a few. More of my later C64 ones survived since they were thin and easy to flatten, else the EA 'album' covers.

Night Warriors is Vampire Hunter not Vampire Savior, though you are right that Savior came out in the US but it was Playstation only and called Darkstalkers 3.
Not that it and most of the games on this list are Hidden Gems anyway. Sorry.

Ah the classic "what is or isn't a hidden gem" argument. Every video list has the same comments from both sides. You could easily make the argument that the entire Saturn library is a hidden gem, but based on the overwhelmingly positive comments on the video, I feel satisfied with our list.Sload Soap wrote:Not that it and most of the games on this list are Hidden Gems anyway. Re: Sega Saturn Games - HIDDEN GEMS
I was going to say the same that the entire Saturn library really is a hidden gem, especially with the younger generation. You mention Panzer Dragoon, Dragon Force, and heck....even bomberman and they just turn their head in confusion.Metal Jesus wrote:Ah the classic "what is or isn't a hidden gem" argument. Sure, most collectors know almost everything there is to know about the system, especially when you hit sites like Racketboy, but I would think that a ton of people who just enjoy games and don't know where to start would find this to be immensely helpful.

I never even seen a Saturn until I finally bought one online. They just weren't around. It was either PlayStation or N64 in stores at the time.
Another supporter for the "whole console is kind of hidden" argument.

I approve of your list as well MJR. Its not like you put Virtua Fighter on there or something. Also I agree that games don't have to be region or console exclusive for being a hidden gen. Lots of games people forget they were even on certain consoles or might be the better experience. Fighting games especially are great on the Saturn so I was excited to see Vampire Savior and Pocket Fighter covered. Looking forward to part 2!

Re: Sega Saturn Games - HIDDEN GEMS
Yay fun guest cohost.
The other Digital Pinball, Last Gladiatiors is fun too ans was released over here as well. You might check if the import Night Striker S is still reasonable or not. Mass Destruction is one you might consider, it was released on Sat and PS1, but is unknown by many. A lot of other things that are coming to mind are pricey. Not that Rayearth is cheap or anything.
