I imagine there will be more people killed in car accidents on the way to the drugstore to stock up for this 'outbreak' than there will be by those affected by the disease in the U.S.

You realize that, especially when compared to other viruses, ebola is fairly difficult to transmit from person to person? It is mostly done so in West Africa due to the conditions, rituals of the people, and distrust of government and medical personnel.

Before reading the article, I didn't think it was a racist thing.

I'm pretty sure I was wrong though. They talk about how hard it will be for the daughter, but I think it sounds like their more worried on how it reflects on them, which isn't right. Then again, the sperm bank is also at fault there.

I meant to say it didn't necessarily sound racist to start with, but became apparent it was as I was reading.

I still stand by my fact that the sperm bank is also in the wrong though- giving the wrong sperm is a pretty big deal. I can't think of a good comparison, but I stand by that.
