As far as those particular bands - you can't be serious. None of them have good male vocalists as it is. This isn't about who influenced music / rock 'n roll. It is simply; Best male vocalist. If you'd said Van Morrison (The Chieftains) or Steve Chapman (Steve and Annie Chapman) I could at least listen to the argument. Geez.

Barbara Streisand. She pretended to be male at times in Yentil. That's clearly good enough to qualify her for a male vocalist, right?
