October titles I'm looking to play through:

House of the Dead 2 - Dreamcast
The Walking Dead - XBLA
Castle of Illusion - XBLA and Gen
Castlevania SOTN - RF Gen Playthrough
Pinball Arcade - PSN Halloween themed tables

Mixed in a bunch of genres here for the month. I played a lot of Castle of Illusion back on the Game Gear when it came out. It's been a long time coming revisiting this one. Already started the XBLA game and collected the first two gems.

Isn't he always?

Playing through Nightmare Creatures II. Holds up better than I thought it would. I've been told I need to play Soul Reaver, since I own it, but never got into it. At all.

I think you can safely say:

Anything he made after 1988's "They Live" that isn't "In the Mouth of Madness".

Yes.

There are a few of his movies I haven't seen: Memoirs of an Invisible Man, The Ward, and his television work. I will say that I think his remake of Village of the Damned is pretty bad.

looking at his full filmography now...

Body Bags is great fun.
Cigarette Burns was amazing.
The Ward was actually pretty good. I liked that one.

But yeah, some bad stuff in there I forgot about (on purpose).

In The Mouth Of Madness and They Live are both incredible. He has so many brilliant movies before those for sure. I guess all the good stuff made it easier for me to ignore the meh stuff.
