wireless bridge

Post by RCBH928 »

hello

maybe you have read my other post, but i need to know something

I am trying to get dreambox(internet enabled sat elite receiver)
I need to do it wirelessly...
So i am going to buy a wireless bridge router or whatever they call it because my wireless router is in the other room and i can run a long ethernet cable.

what i need to know is , these devices got only one eternet port in them. Is this for configuration only or devices connected to it can access internet vie ethernet (because the receiver itself has no wireless hardware)

Just get a Linksys WRT54GL, install DD-WRT. Enable wireles bridge mode.

Instant 4 e/net port wireless bridge.
