Well come on just about every 14 year old kid, who is now over thirty, has Tom Petty's greatest hits.
Fixed.
The skateboarding in Free Fallin is so terrible it's 90's magic.
Tom Petty is portrayed as a huge ass jerk isn't he? Not just "strong personality jerk" but "screwed a lot of people out of money jerk".
Well hey, I don't care if he was nice or not, I wasn't his friend, I just listened to his music. I'm sure Cobain and Tupac and many others weren't the most friendly approachable people either.
They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.
Elvis himself said Roy Orbison had the greatest voice he ever heard. He might know a little of what he's talking about. Something about when he hit the high notes, he didn't just sound powerful, he sounded broken hearted. Of course, Roy did have the personal tragedy to give meaning to that statement. His wife and two oldest sons both died. Just go learn the chords and try to do a cover of "You Got it." That's a challenge, for anybody. A three/four octave vocal range is difficult even for pro singers.
About Tom Petty, the best thing you can say about him is that he was in the Traveling Wilburys. Just to be included in that group is a pretty big deal and says those guys must have liked him.
