Took the time before work to play a bit of one of my favorite Genesis games via OpenEmu.

Cheeky little Sly Cooper reference. :)
That's depressing. Not a smart idea for Sucker Punch to be reminding us of FAR better games than the one we're actually playing

The feeling you get is like being on a date with an average looking girl and bumping into your much hotter ex...who is now with someone else

I miss OLD Sucker Punch

Bah, I had in incredible Risk of Rain run last night that I kept going for over 5 hours. I was completely unstoppable after an hour or so and just kept going in the levels before moving on. I could have kept it going forever. I was using the artifact that lets you choose your item drops and had every item from the white, green, and red chest drop multiple times over. My use item was the one that gives you chests, so that combined with a stack of the money generation one and all the cash from kills I was raking on money way faster than I could spend it. With all the knockback and stunlock stuff I could just pound things into oblivion.

So the Top Scores were all obviously from the killer run.

Highlights from here are:
Boss kill in 0.1 second
Highest damage done in one shot 714144
Multi kill of 20 in one shot
1276 items collected in one game
1330 total boss kills, 1134 of which were in this game alone
77 of a single item stacked
23:14 spent untouched, which was not me standing around in a safe spot

Wish I had action shots. I don't know why Screenshotting wasn't working. :|

Doesn't screen shooting didn't work on windowed mode?

Awesome run though. I've been playing on drizzle just to get some character unlocks. That game is addictive as hell so when you said a 5 hour run I just shrugged. Really wish there was a between level quick save option or something though.

And what is that favorite item? I don't have that unlocked.

It used to work, sort of. I have the graphical glitch where the text and icons are scaled up a bit too big for which there seems to be no fix. You can see the labels on the screenshots are overlapped. Screens were working it would just do an odd thing where the game was a portion of my desktop size up in the top left with black space filling the rest. I guess some of the recent Steam updates broke the functionality completely.

That item is a artifact that gives you a use item that does random stuff every time. I'm surprised I didn't surpass it creating chests with that game last night.
