Ack wrote:Also, how do you film these? It seemed like you had three different cameras, one of which was an iPad. Do you tape in front of a live TV audience, because I'd totally ask to go if I were ever in the Seattle area.
This episode was filmed in my basement using just my normal camcorder on a tripod as the straight-on shot and a GoPro to the side looking down at the table and then my wife walking around with the iPad. That's it. No audience other than what is in our heads.

Would I love to do one of these LIVE? Absolutely! It would probably turn out even crazier :)

Haha, the video picture, intro, and so much silly joy in this one. Obviously much hops dies for this episode.

I already knew you could toss a con of stuff in there, but now I want a cheap waffle iron.

That'd be sort of like the George Foreman grill with dimples, but no grease drain spout. That could be a huge problem if the grease escapes in the wrong place.

Yeah you wanna be careful with things that make a lot of grease. We cook bacon in ours, but that's about the greasiest we get.

Well, there goes my plans for next weekend. It seems waffle irons aren't that fun.

Anyway, these were pretty fun to watch. The mac and cheese mostly looked and sounded gross, but the waffle iron food looked surprisingly edible excepting the spam. I want to see what you can do with a fry daddy and weird gaming foods, make it happen.

Considering they cooked spam, instant cornbread mix, chocolate cake, frozen quesadillas, nachos, and microwave pizzas on a waffle iron in the video, I figured this was an obvious question to move up to. It's not about taste. It's about what you can do with a waffle iron.
