Sega Saturn USB pads for $23 shipped

Post by Pullmyfinger »

They're here, anyone know if these are legit? They seem fake to me and they come from Hong Kong. The pictures look like they have a decent quality though. Maybe someone here has some cash to burn and is willing to take the risk.

Just noticed that linked text doesn't look good in the default view, so here:

The box looks like the ones I have except mine are white Japanese-style. If so, they are great. There was a whole thread on Shoryuken.com and Markman (arcade stick guru) declared them indistinguishable from a real Saturn pad. They are also usable on both PC and PS3.

I bought a double pack of the USB Saturn SLS pads on ebay before Xmas. The ones I got were the real McCoy~
(After the link loaded...)
Oh damn, actually even the same seller. She's a good seller with an odd name (Compupter). Shipping was really fast too but then again I'm in Japan and a bit closer. She also put the package as gift mailing to avoid etc fees. I'd buy from her again if I wanted some more of them.

Then I think I'll try my luck with one and tell you guys later, I had my doubts because there is no SEGA logo on any part of the box that I can see

I think I might have to pick one of these up for when SF4 comes out...

SLS is in the top left corner on the box... I believe that's Sega's PC division or non-game division. It even has SLS on their Saturn PS controller so I'd have to say it's legit.

I'll pick one up in hopes that it'll work with the new sega genesis compilation for ps3.
It seems like this controller works with the ps3, so hopefully the game will allow button mapping of some sort.
