What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Good deal. But more action, less talking.

I'm kidding, but I'm not.

Again, good on you for mingling and hanging out with your neighbors. Awesome way to branch out and meet tons of new people. And as silly as it sounds, don't be shy to buy them a cheap gift. once bought my college neighbors a 4-pack of toilet paper and I got free football tickets out of it. Ya never know.

Smile: Ran into a former co-worker tonight at Advance Auto (time to change the oil). Dude is obviously a stoner, but I get along well with stoners so we chatted for a while.

LSShort, he hates his job, told me I had "super balls" to leave in the fashion I did, and after a quick "bro hug" we went our own ways.

Cool kid. Hopefully I run into him again.

Define "action".

Hanging with the neighbors essentially just came out of them inviting us over the first week, and I've gone over there when they had parties and stuff going. Between class and such I haven't actually met that many people, because they are surprisingly hard to talk to for some reason. I'm not talking during class mind you, but waiting on it to start or after class.

Challenge accepted!

In this scenario "action" would be an exchange of means of contact and following up with said contact.

I'm not even going to try to follow Blu's post.

Best wishes buddy.

 Congratulations!

Superstition: Never say Congratulations at a wedding. Bad luck. (Maybe it's a Midwestern thing).

Wedding = Best Wishes

Announcing Pregnancy= Congratulations

I'm not alone on this am I?

And what happened to the tradition of every dude getting to kiss the bride on the cheek?

:? So I just officially "came out". Although it wasn't really a secret, I'm pretty sure I'll get some hate. Just waiting for the comments to roll in...

:D Don't care. If this is the reason why I've been depressed all these years, then I'm glad to finally get it off my chest. Sick of being this way...

:D Had a great weekend. Finally got out of the house and explored a bit. It's been a long time since my last haircut... >.>

:D Houston trip is in less than a month and Kit got a couple weeks of OT. Looks like we'll actually be able to hit up Trader's Village after all. I label myself a hermit, but it'll be nice to get out for a bit.

Wait, so you came out as...a hermit?

Not meaning to make fun, of course - but your post is a bit cryptic. :)

After re-reading it, it even confused me...

I announced that I self-identify as a transgender. I'm looking into getting on hormone treatments, but that may not be possible at the moment. I've fought with gender-identity issues for quite some time. Sorry if this bothers anybody on the forum. This will probably be the last time I bring it up.
