I've found their forums to be downright hostile and I'm curious about other's experiences. Chime in either way.

Yeah, it's certainly not the friendliest place. For instance, you can be banned for downloading the MAME set, and then downloading a future MAME set without resuming the old MAME set. IMO, if your ratio > 1, then you're giving back more than your get, so you're not really wasting anything. Also, I've heard of people getting banned for posting PD torrents on other trackers.

But then, dicks are often that way because they care about quality. Pleasuredome is a great place to get full romsets for just about any system. Even better than UG. So I just use them for ROMs, UG for PC games and forums.

Pleasuredome user for a few years now. Never stepped foot in the forums. My ratio is >2.00, so nobody bothers me. I'm only there to keep my MAME ROMs and title/snapshots in sync.
