With Secret of the Stars out of the way, I now have to pick another SNES RPG to play...

...oh, I love having this problem.

Unfortunately I don't own any of those three...though maybe I'll finally bite the bullet and get one of them. Brandish is the cheapest of the three, but still $30+.

I also own a few others I still haven't gotten through: Secret of Evermore, Super Ninja Boy, Robotrek, Drakkhen, etc.

Played, yes. Beaten, no. The same with Super Ninja Boy and Breath of Fire 2. Hell, I only got through three floors in Eye of the Beholder over the summer too.

Maybe it is time I try to get through Secret of Evermore...

Yeah, I guess I got lucky. I started collecting when things were still cheap and managed to buy some of the big names then. But as I work my way through these, my list of unbeaten SNES RPGs has been steadily whittling away. At this point, I own 7 SNES RPGs(across all types of RPGs, so not just JRPGs) that I have yet to beat, and 1 SFC RPG, though I have a PS1 NTSC-U port of it. And I still have quite a few to collect.

Well and i'm still waiting on my import of Phantasia to come in so yea....I really ought to start diverifying that library(I can't say much since my ps2 has quite a bit of racing/skating due to goodwill hunts). The funny thing is a good chunk of the rpgs on gba that were ports of snes titles i have probably played them but not beaten :| (excluding mother and a few others)

Well, if you want some RPGs for the SNES and don't want to pay more than $20 apiece(not including shipping), there are some good choices, even if you're not looking to import:

7th Saga
Arcana
Brain Lord
Drakkhen
Dungeon Master
Equinox
Eye of the Beholder
Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest
Illusion of Gaia (yes, this can be found for sub-$20)
Inindo
J.R.R. Tolkein's The Lord of the Rings Volume 1
Lagoon
Might & Magic III: Isles of Terra (Sometimes can be found under $20)
Obitus
Paladin's Quest
Super Ninja Boy
Ultima Runes of Virtue II
Ultima VI The False Prophet
Wizardry V
Ys III

Sure, you'll notice a lack of the big names, your mainline Final Fantasies, Breath of Fires, and Lufias, and stuff like Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, and Chrono Trigger won't fall into this. But there's still a sizable amount of NTSC-U RPGs to check out in a variety of styles.

And if you want to import, well, I'd recommend you have a chat with Bone, since he knows the SFC RPG library pretty well pat.

Well I'm only importing thanks to the r5, since japanese stuff is 10x cheaper sometimes and heck I can somehow get rpgs we never got for a decent price it seems
