Just wrapped up Ratchet & Clank Crack in Time too, so only one more main game to go I guess. It's been a fun ride. They're different though and I wouldn't really compare them much to other platformers.
Yeah I'm going to have to follow in the same(especially since I've never beaten dk64 and want to). The jak collection is nice, I just need to get around to it since I have it on vita

Jak & Daxter is a solid 3D platformer. I played through it recently and had a godo time with it. (It is a bit easy, however.) Some other solid 3D platformers you might want to consider:

Maximo: Ghosts to Glory
Psychonauts
Rayman 2

Hey I'm on cavern of earth so i've made progress  (and learned my lesson not to go into the hall of giants or whatever it's called in there  ). I still don't get the encounter rate in that game though. In some places I'll be able to get from point A to B with no monsters, and other times it's every two steps. Nice for some grinding(since now i'm at level 16 for all characters  ), but I think I end up running from quite a bit now just so I can get further ahead...

My brother is traveling for a couple of weeks. After much begging and pleading I let him borrow my DS + Chrono Trigger and Phantom Hourglass so he'd have something to play on the plane, etc.

I know I sound like a brat, but I hate lending stuff to people. Especially video games. Too many negative experiences in the past and most people aren't as particular and careful with my games as I am. Hopefully everything arrives back safe and sound.

I'm totally with you. It's not like you're not willing to share when they're staying at your place or something, but lending out is a whole different story.

I get you. I have had things damaged or ruined by people I thought I could trust before as well as lending things that disappeared until someone cleaned up while preparing to move. I go through cycles of denying, then lending, then denying again. I'm in a cautious lending cycle right now, but only for things that aren't difficult to replace. Not sure I'll lend certain things out again. :|

I put a value cap on games I will lend out and all disc based games go out in a generic case. That way cases and manuals do not get lost or tore up. A disc only replacement is cheaper than a complete game.
