I'm finding it a bit of a challenge to skim it out or find much at all that's clear to read, but is there an upcoming known list (2014-2015) known for the system? I'm specifically curious about the non-first party stuff as that's easy to dig up.
I'll be straight, I'm trying to decide going further how much I want to dedicate in time and money on the thing. I love the system, but I'm starting to wonder if it has nothing for me other than Nintendo made games. I'm not living in the land of thinking third parties will pull a 180, they won't, so I'm trying to see what's there and decide my future with the thing. I'm anywhere between keep it to sell it(as the 3DS gets more than enough uniques from them.)

Also I hate to say it, but gamestop's site is a good idea too. They may not have everything but that availibility list when you select a system(you know the one that says this month, next month, later, and the others). I've been paying attention to that to some extent lately for new games...

Re: Wii U upcoming games (non download)
Something to keep in mind, is Nintendo is helping some third party developers bring their games out, so they're technically being counted as first party ... but they're really not. (Bayonetta 2, for instance)
What really sucks is, the Japanese third party games that are coming out, aren't getting released here.

I think in a way the Vita and WiiU crisis is similar. Some solid games, lots not released overseas to here, and a lot more just not released at all. Gamestop I've used for years, just was hoping that they weren't skipping stuff.
Ugh.
I'm just going through a lot of stuff on my shelving right now and deciding what all to do with it. The WiiU I haven't had on probably in two or three months for a casual run of DKC and a month before that with the same game again. I haven't found one acceptable game I want to get since that, and that one was even gifted in March.

Personally I'd hold on to it for the Toad Treasure Tracker game, Smash Bros., and the Zelda it'll eventually get. After that? Sell it, sure.Tanooki wrote:I haven't found one acceptable game I want to get since that, and that one was even gifted in March.

Re: Wii U upcoming games (non download)
I'm still hoping there is a 3ds/ds player in the future. So far Nintendo has released a player for their portable games every other generation. Plus the Wii U Tablet could easily function as the bottom screen.
NES
SNES(Super Game Boy)
N64
Game Cube(Game Boy Player)
Wii
Wii U(???)
If this were ever to happen the Wii U would be the first current gen system on my want list

Well the 3ds can interface with the Wiiu as seen in Monster Hunter and announced for Smash bros. If I can just use my 3ds to play games on my TV via my Wiiu, I will be buying more 3ds games and doing some hardware mods to mine.

Re: Wii U upcoming games (non download)
I would wait until the next round of games, and even peruse the eShop (I know you're not interested in downloads, but there's some really good games there, and Nintendo sweetens the pot until the end of this year)
Starting with Hyrule Warriors, there's steady releases for Wii U every month until 2016. And, again, not all are exactly "first party".
Really wish we'd get those Yakuza remakes and Fatal Frame though.
