Just curious, what's the difference with the hitbox in this version? Is it slightly skewed to one side of the ship or something? I seem to remember reading about it somewhere...

It took me a week or so to get used to the hitbox in Black Label. I spent the first few days this month thinking that it was the red cockpit, then I happened to look up a guide and saw that it's actually not that. Doh! (I still think the cockpit would be a more sensible location for the hitbox.)

I think it's slightly skewed to the right (not 100% sure) and also bigger. Since I was used to BL, I kept running into bullets. :x

Awwwww yeah. I was in the zone for this run. No-miss/no-bombed the Stage 3 boss, got the 1up on Stage 4. Now, I haven't reached the Stage 4 boss before but I did it this time with one life (maybe even two lives) to spare. Despite not seeing any of its patterns before, I was pretty confident I could beat it. After the first few waves of bullets I thought, 'Yeah, I got this.' Got a bit into Stage 5, but I'm still improving. DDP DOJ no longer seems like the scary, insanely hard game it used to. :)

Dude, nice! I've never even seen Stage 5.

And holy crap this month is flying by. Only had a couple credits at this, haven't even looked at chaining routes :(

@Doc - Do not let it fool you. This game is still scary.

So I've been getting to the last boss the past couple of days, not going to lie, his spreads are actually easier to manage than some of the stuff I've seen on Ketsui. Hopefully have the 1cc here in the next couple of days.

Well I suppose it's time for an update which still pales from the best here.

Hyper Mode on bosses can be quite a trip, with hit combos of 300+!
