I know it's kind of a long shot at this point, but if anyone has any codes left...

You dealin' brotha? I need my codes and I need them now!!

But seriously, I will be your bestest friend ever. We will exchange friend codes and play many a Sm4sh matches.

For other people who don't have the demo, Kirby Fighters Deluxe on the eShop has been a great way to tide me over until Friday. It's like Smash Bros, but with Kirby's copy abilities. Loads of fun. A smaller version of the game is included with Kirby Triple Deluxe, and if you happen to have both, more stuff gets unlocked.

Thoughts on the 3DS demo.

Can't wait to get my hands on the ability to change the controls. I hate jumping by pushing up on the circle pad. I also hate how moving to the right or left extremes initiates running. I want my double tap. I know that will be alleviated in the full release though.

I am enjoying the characters a lot. Villager looks to be extremely good. I see him being a very very popular character. He has spectacular vertical and horizontal recovery with his specials. Also, tree techniques are going to be refined. Being able to grow the tree and then just use your axe as a weapon is pretty hefty and...from what I saw, the top of the tree harms people if they jump on it. The tree can be a shield, a weapon and an obstacle for your enemies. Looks incredibly good!

But Bogus, X and Y are also Jump.

The analog control felt pretty much the same as all the Smash I've played. I don't recall it ever being about double tapping, it's been about speed of movement. If you go left or right hard, that'll initiate run or smash attacks. But if you go gentle it doesn't. That's what I've been experiencing with this so far.

I really like that the fighters have new depth to them. It feels like some of them have context sensitive fighting based on what segment they're on in their attack.

I really like how they handled Mega Man.

My problem (with the demo) is moreso that the up-to-jump makes it impossible for me to do a vertical attack, because I always jump instead. Also, the running is very sensitive. I can't do a forward attack without it being a running attack.

Again...I know this will be changed in the settings and isn't a real gripe.
