What label fits you?
In today's PC world everyone has a label. Bigot, racist, feminist, homosexual, liberal, conservative, abuser, alcoholic, etc. Everyone is something, there are no such things as just people. If you live, you fall under a label. So, which one best describes you?
ETA: I think it's sad it's almost gotten to the point where we should just officially announce someone's label when introducing them. No need to get to know them (who has time for that anymore, anyway? There's so much technology to get lost in instead...) or learn anything about a person. You know their labels, you know them.

Some people call me Maurice.

Hmm, I try to live my life as stress free as I can. I like the word Tranquility. Would you consider the word Tranquil to be a label? I do.

Well, it's true. You take our media, one of our protected freedoms. They turn EVERYTHING into a social commentary and just label a person. Every little thing that someone does wrong turns them into a monster in the eyes of the media. And people read and watch this stuff and form their beliefs of others off of it. There was a school recently that banned Chic Fil A sandwiches because Chic Fil A's owner supports traditional marriage. Not to even think about the people who raised, processes, cooked and prepared that sandwich, no they are going to blanket everything under a label they have for the owner.Sload Soap wrote:Oh god.

Read the story on gamefaqs political page, another user posted it. I'm sure with a few clicks you can get there.Sload Soap wrote:Do you have a sauce to back up that claim? If I based all my decisions on how I feel about the beliefs of corporate ownership, well let's say I'd have a very inconvenient life.
Basically what you have is some school saying: "Johnny, you can't eat that chicken sandwich here, because the man who owns that sandwich doesn't believe Jim and Steve could marry someday." What a load of crap, it's a sandwich. Eat it. Maybe the person who made the decision maker at that schools clothes feels the same way, and they don't know it.
