On the R5 you're using the intended cartridge format yet benefiting of the system perks from HD clarity, sound and visual boosters/filters, hot saving and more.

Not going to lie, it may sound weird but the nes controller makes for the best controller ever for gb/c games. I played a little bit of oracle of ages on the thing and not having a l or r button to bump on accident was nice. Plus it's the right amount of buttons for those games :D

Unless something significant has changed, the loading on CT as a ps classic (and all the SNES final fantasy games, anthology, etc) makes it almost unbearable to play. You will have a significantly better experience playing the cart.

Yeah I hope so, I actually had a lot of fun playing chrono as a classic on my vita(especially because I used button hacks on the soda game with the controller editor in vita  ). The games were set to be delievered tommorrow but looks like things changed because it's out for delievery today! I got lucky on delievery i guess because that means it only took a week to ship(though yes I did buy the air mail so it would be way quicker...ashamed of myself but I like knowing where my stuff is so sal wouldn't cut it)

Retron Tech sent me a new build to test out tonight that he thinks has solved the DKC jitters issue. Looking at the notes, also looks like it allows for separate saves for games that have been patched (sweet!). I'll test it when I get home and report back on it.

I'm going to do some further testing on the current build to see what other games are giving similar issues. This way I can confirm that they are all fixed once the next BETA rolls out.

So far, games that experience jitters after extended play:
DKC
SMB3 on All-Stars+World cart.

If that's true then smb1 into smb2 here i come  and that seperate save thing is going to be nice since if I do finally get my hands on lttp that means I can do the bs zelda and a few others I've been looking at...

For those of you wondering which Super Famicom RPGs have translation patches and which don't, some asshole made a list:

Looks like this latest beta also allows for game specific settings, not sure how extensive that will be, but could be cool. Very excited to get home. Also just ordered a legit Japanese Mother 3 cart to patch and play now that UPS is in the mix. Feels good owning legit copies of these games, repros make me feel dirty. Glad I never got desperate enough to order one! :-)
