You might be surprised at how many people only play their portables at home.

I'm not, I mostly use mine here too. I just happen to pocket something, usually my micro though, as I never know what will happen when I'm out.

Makes holding it far more comfortable for adult sized hands. You can get one here.
Which console controller would you compare it to when it comes to how comfortable it is? I am seriously interested in one.

I can't think of an analog honestly, it's just comfy. Here's a German video of a guy showing it off:

The only other grip I can recommend is this one:

I feel like Returns had some tougher moments, but Tropical Freeze does feel like it picks up directly where Returns ends... difficulty wise. If that makes sense.

Did you not bother with Returns? Can't remember if you were the one who didn't like the waggle or something. Don't miss out because of that!

In the end, I thought both were perfect difficulty wise. It was nice that I actually had to try. Good fun challenge that was still doable after some trial and error.

TF is fairly challenging, but the Wii/3DS game is far worse, it's downright cheap often enough in places. My original copy I got so pissed at I got rid of it, now I have it again having to settle on that crap 'platinum prize' from club Nintendo but I still have yet to touch it. :)

I agree it's pretty tough. I've found Tropical Freeze to be significantly more challenging than Returns ever was.

But I kinda like it like that. I'm glad the challenge isn't from it being cheap either, which seems to be a tradition with DKC.

I have beaten DCKR.

Tropical Freeze is kicking my ass. It's a very well-designed game but damn. The levels are so fast-paced and there's absolutely no room for error. I'm not joking when I say that it's taken me about 8-10 lives to finish an average level so far. And I'm only at the World 2 boss!

I'm not in love with the controls. I'm using the Wii U Pad and I don't like having to use the shoulder buttons to pick stuff up. May switch to another control scheme or drop the cash to get that Wii U Pro Controller.

This isn't a game I plan on finishing any time soon. Hopefully I can just pick away at it until it's done.
