I've been playing it a little on my pretty white PS4, but I'm probably not far along enough to try and play with you guys. In part because it really likes booting me back to orbit with a connection error (lion).
Not all that impressed with it either way so far, but that's really impacting things right now. Far as I can tell it's not my actual connection either.

The PS4 is known to have some oddball issues with wifi. I have it randomly dump out on me and then you have to try and restart the router or safe mode the ps4 if that fails and do a reset of your settings alone. I got fed up with it dying the day I got it, went into my router and disabled all the legacy support making it N only, making it a 40hz/20hz not just 20 connection, setting another mode that reinforces and boosts N, and locked in channel 1 since it's the least trafficked in my area. It hasn't dropped yet thankfully.

Last night I "cleared" Earth other than the hard ass challenge mode in the center of the map. That last level was a pain in the ass, died a few times due to that knight which was infuriating. I'm just not and never will be as fluid with twinsticks over a mouse and keys I accept that, but still it was nasty and I wasn't flopping around like a drunk spraying ammo everywhere either.

I'm currently Lv6. So I know I'm not beefy by any means, maybe low, I have no idea as I have't just wandered around ranking up junk. I hope the Moon isn't a slaughter.

By the way what's the deal with team ups? I've had a couple random friend requests which popped up at bad times so I dismissed them, haven't had any since (last night.) I'd like to know how I can do the actual story mode stuff with a party of 3. I think it would have made that last battle more fun to handle with some covering fire.

My PSN is SanoGTX

Add me if you wanna! I have prior engagements on Thursdays that might keep me away. Depends on the time.

Mine is using a wired connection. There seem to be a fair number of people having similar issues, based on searches.

Is it anywhere specific? I'm on 360 but a friend kept getting booted from our fireteam every time we went back to the Citadel Tower. I guessed it was due to the higher number of people attempting to access that area.

I am in Colorado on Comcast internet. My down speed is around 60 and up is around 12. I haven't had any problems with lag or disconnects. I am on the PS4 on a wired connection. I have DOCSIS 3 compliant modem and router.

I'll report any problems if I have any.

The initial occurrences were with accessing the weapons vendor there as part of the intro stuff. Like, I'd move the cursor over the options to read the descriptions and it'd boot me. Happened 3-4x before I just grabbed one fast as I could. I haven't been back there much.

Since then, it's been fairly random, but inevitably when I've made some progress into a quest or mission fight. Like the first time you fight a wizard, in the middle of that, I was booted back to orbit probably 5-6x. Never prior to actually fighting the boss in the instance (or whatever the heck the limited respawn areas are considered). Last night was just in the middle of collecting quest items though, not in one of those areas. I haven't really seen it happen like, right after landing or something.

Either way, I'm basically lucky if I can get through a mission or something without getting booted at least once. I suspect it's a server/congestion issue, and I've played enough MMOs/always online games around launch before to have seen similar problems.

That sounds shitty. :(

I've been booted twice, both times on Mars. No reason given just back to the menu. At least it saves mission progress/levelling which is something.

I am about to do some Mooning on PS4 if anyone else is around.

Has anyone played it on 360, my friend is interested in buying it but worried about the population of the community.

I'll be up for the Moon strike mission in an hour or so if folks are interested...
