So the issue isn't about women in gaming to most but about the fact that there are extreme left wing feminists in gaming media that can cause a dev to change their game based on what they say out of fear of backlash from a extremely leftist vocal minority of feminists.

Complete utter bullshit. Anyone can go into that IRC channel it isn't private. Fuck it isn't even about her it was for coordinating twitter campaigns and emails to advertisers. I've also seen the screen caps she posted and the following posts she left out were all pretty much, "go away Zoe," "go away shill," etc. There is nothing to prove that she, one of her supporters, or anyone against gg didn't post those and absolutely no proof that anyone from gg did post those since it is an open IRC channel, anonymity is a double edged sword in that regard. Either way if threats were posted whomever made them should be found out no matter what side of the fence they sit on.

Oh and not your shield is a hilarious campaign on twitter of lgbt, minorities, and women that support gamergate where every single one was told they were just white basement males because they "typed like they were white" and other stupid shit.



I get bored in class a lot so I've been paying a bunch of attention to this stuff. So sue me.

EDIT: 4chan just raised 23k for a indie game jam to get womens ideas for games made. The campaign was originally shut down when Zoe Quinn and her PR manager doxxed and ddos'ed them for a stupid misunderstanding that Zoe never bothered to clarify. So yea take that how you will.

Huh, and here I thought the issue was that Zoe Quinn had supposedly slept with a few game journalists to get a better review for her game or something. I don't know, I don't care for listening to this rumor mill.

Eh, I've hardly been paying attention to this or any real games journalism for a while, nor do I intend to give this any further credence. Games journalism is a mess, we know that already. It's tainted by claims of news organizations giving better reviews for money or gifts, widespread amateur reporting, and too often focuses on rumor and hearsay.
