I hope you find the act of writing the letters to be sufficiently cathartic. BBB isn't a governmental agency despite the official sounding name. They really don't have much power other than to change an unofficial rating for a business. Even if they were a US government agency, Piranha looks like it's a Canadian company so that wouldn't help much.

Sorry about this situation you're in, dude. Being such a veteran (and apparently storied, top 3 in the world = way better than anyone here would ever be, wow!) player, it must feel like an acute betrayal of your trust for a company to do such a thing.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Yes BBB is in Canada and it has put companies licenses in revoke, with enough complaints that is.

That's not how the Better Business Bureau works though. Licenses are given out by the government. The Better Business Bureau is a glorified yelp.
