If its the same as the GC version, then there is a certain something that is only in that version of AC, that I found to be really neat. I'll refrain from spoiling, but I hope it exists in the N64 version.

Sparked my curiosity, and thanks for not spoiling. Trying to play this blind so I'm actually learning the language instead of trying to remember what the English version said/did.

I started up DuckTales: Remastered last night. I owned that game (both literally and figuratively) when I was a kid; so, I thought I would blast through it...I was wrong. I achieved three "game over" screens on the Amazon level; so, it looks like I will have to readjust to "NES" level difficulty with this platformer.

It is tweaked and changed alot. I bet if you go back to the NES version you wouldnt have any issues.

That's probably true. I would also be disappointed if the game was a simple remake since it would probably be a bit too easy. (I always thought that the Amazon level was the hardest in the game, anyway; so, I maybe I will have more success with the other ones.)

DuckTales, DuckTales 2, Rescue Rangers, Rescue Rangers 2, and Darkwing Duck are all very solid games. (Darkwing Duck is like a lost Mega Man game.) TaleSpin and The Little Mermaid aren't that great, however; so, you can probably skip them. (You might also want to skip DuckTales 2 and Rescue Rangers 2 since their quality does not justify their price.)

Well then, it sounds like if I want them I'll have to keep my eye out if I do decide to make another trip out to the flea market(which I hope to be soon since I've learned my lesson with that last trip and hope someone there will have something interesting when I do decide to go). (which I did miss my community yardsale but only because of saving my money for the retron :-\ )

Forgot I also tried the newest Tomb Raider last night. Um, no. At this point I am shunning any modern game with obvious button prompts on the screen or cut scenes with button prompts.

Between this and Hitman Absolution I can't believe how much production values trump gameplay in some genres. Both games have amazing cut scenes but shameful paint by numbers gameplay.

I loved the gameplay in TR, it seems like the so called "paint by numbers" cutscenes were relatively few, compared to the scrappy, 3rd person, action stuff. *shrug*
