Revelations and 4 are okay (I actually really liked about 2/3rd of Revelations) and the first and second game were for their time pretty novel. It's overall a pretty awful series of games though.
...Ok? That's clearly your opinion only, and since you don't provide ANY facts or even reasons as to why you think that, I couldn't care less about it.
You cared enough to reply to someone's stated opinion. Perhaps Ryan wasn't positing it as an argument to convince others it was a universal truth.
Yes, let's begin defending ignorant blanket statements that provide zero basis in fact or reasoning while simultaneously insulting a large group of people. Good job.

Btw, Mario games are a pretty awful series and anyone who thinks they're good are completely delusional.

Well since he didn't insult our sexual orientation/political ideology/religion/way of life I don't see why anyone would get so worked up about this.

By the way, people who post that they don't give a tinker's cuss about something are completely delusional because they clearly care more than people who didn't respond at all.

See how easy that is?

Back to your regularly schedules thread. Yay new Binding of Isaac soon. *preorder*

Have you ever played a game, then played its sequel immediately after and the main voice actors are different? Isn't it jarring? I've been playing the NOLF games and most of the cast changed between the two. I don't recall noticing the difference back when I played them at release, which makes me think they were far enough apart that I didn't notice the changed voices. But playing them back to back is weird.

Xenosaga comes to mind. lol

It was even a bit weirder, some voice actors for the first game weren't around for the second, but came back for the third. So that was really wacky.

The Gabriel Knight games did that. In the original version (CD release, not the disk release, obviously), there were lots of voiced dialogues and Tim Curry voiced the main character. After that I guess they couldn't afford him any more. Though the games stayed good, they did feel different without Tim Curry.

If Microsoft made a handheld system I would probably buy it.

I probably would as well.

I remember in the early days of the 360, I saw this render in a magazine (might have been OXM) and drooling over the possibility:

Unfortunately, in our current market, I doubt we'll ever see one.

^ Doesn't count.

So, at the end of last year I know we had a Best 2013 Games thread... http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... f+the+year

But did we also have a Best Games You Played (Regardless of Release Date) thread? Been trying to find it with no luck. Could be thinking of another message board.
