Blitz: The League (2006) and Blitz: The League II (2008) on last gen consoles (only II made it to PS3 of course) still run for $18 and $30 respectively at GameStop. $29.99 for a six year old niche football game! They haven't reduced this price in years - although to be fair, the eBay market is seemingly in line.
Those prices have always blown my mind too. In all honesty, they should be closer to $3 a piece. I have them and still have fun with them when I wanna turn off my brain and wanna have some fun.

One thing about Blitz has never changed: If you want to lose, have a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter.

Why do I suddenly want to play that terrible game?

That kinda got stifled with The League games, but it is still there. Fumbles happen and the injuries get kinda ridiculous when you have a huge lead.

Haha I noticed that just the other day at GS. Walked right past and grabbed something cheap instead.

The arcade games were the worst with this, specifically NFL Blitz '99 IIRC.

The Wii Mini Mario Kart bundle I bought from Amazon for $45 arrived today, pleasantly surprised to see that it's the full physical release of MK, with retail case and manual (unlike the New Super Mario Bros Wii release, which was disk only). MK is still 39.99 in stores, so it's pretty much like getting the Mini for free.

Just saying, people that identify the Resident Evil series as good are completely delusional. I had a discussion with a guy at work that swears that the series is the best thing in gaming.

Revelations and 4 are okay (I actually really liked about 2/3rd of Revelations) and the first and second game were for their time pretty novel. It's overall a pretty awful series of games though.

...Ok? That's clearly your opinion only, and since you don't provide ANY facts or even reasons as to why you think that, I couldn't care less about it.

Perhaps that was meant to go in the "unpopular gaming opinions" thread?
