Hello, I'm new and while I've already taken the opportunity to contribute in a few other threads I thought I should introduce myslef here as well :D

I'm 17 from London, and I like video games as well as plants and animals, martial arts and papecraft, and my favorite band is The Police.

My favorite genres are platformers, rhythm games, fighting games as well as some shoot em ups (although I tend to stick to three or four and master those rather than play a lot of them). I dislike FPS games and RPGs, since the majority of them either don't hold my interest or try far too hard to be serious. There are some exceptions though (Team Fortress 2 comes to mind). I prefer light hearted and funny games to dark serious ones, and I love anything unique. Also I love 2D graphics and cel shading.

Hello.

My name is Jon and I've been a reader of the site for quite some time. I've just been too lazy to actually register a forum account. :) I found this site probably around a year ago, and I genuinely enjoy the content. Quality stuff, it is.

As for myself, I've been gaming for more or less all my life. I never really considered myself a 'hardcore' gamer, but by some miracle or another I've touched most of the consoles and their flagship titles over the past 20 years. My brother really was the enthusiastic one between us, and mostly I just played the games he led me to.

Among my current interests are multi-directional shooters, shmups, RPG's, and generally anything unique and creative. My favorite titles are impossible to limit, but the two groups of games that hold a special place in my heart are the Jet Set Radio and Dungeon Explorer games.

I look forward to to chatting things up a bit. :)

My name is Zack and I've been gaming since I was around 5 years old. I grew up with a SNES and am a huge fan of retro gaming. I've been visiting this site for quite a while and enjoy the content that's posted here so I decided to sign up.

Hey all. I've been reading this forum for several months now, finally got around to registering so I could post my game room. I'm from Michigan and I've been a gamer since I was a wee lad. I've recently gotten into classic gaming, and have started building up my collection again. When FF7 came out I made the mistake of trading in a lot of my SNES RPGs for it, except for FF3/6. I had all of them too, except for EarthBound. Man, thats going to be expensive to rebuild :(

My favorite genres are Beat em ups, shmups, action/adventure, and RPGs. My top 5 all-time favorite games are:

1. Super Metroid
2. Final Fantasy 3/6
3. Doom
4. Space Quest 5
5. Duke Nukem 3D

Reverend here!

I've been playing video games since before I was born. No wait. I mean my father bought a Genesis before I was born. Ever since I could remember he was playing Sword of Vermilion or a Sonic game and once I was old enough, the Genesis was mine and I began to love video games of all sorts. I'm really into retro gaming and collecting, so this place is perfect for me :D

Glad to be here!!

My name is Randy and i'm 23 years old. i am a website manager for a state owned organization. i have been playing video games since i can remember. our first new system ( me and my brother ) was the nintendo package that had super mario bros. and duck hunt with the zapper. still a fan of both of those games today. i really enjoy shoot-em-ups, but lately, i've really gotten into the online gaming of Call of duty 4 and world at war. i like to game all different kinds of games, ranging from old to new, rpg to the old school mud's. i came across this site when i was looking for an old nintendo game i haven't played in years called gotcha, a capture the flag game, i ended up finding it, and liked all the things i read on this site. i hope to meet quite a few fellow gamers here, who may be able to help me with enriching my gaming experiences.
