I'm angry and I am worried about that anger. I'm being pushed to my absolute limits now.

This country is a fucking shambles. Technically they cannot force a pregnant woman onto a flight but they are not extending the visa and she will be deported as an illegal immigrant once our child is born. What the fuck? We are staying here legally and we are willing to pay for a fucking visa extension. That's almost a grand by the way. They are putting a tremendous amount of stress on my wife.

That visa extension exists but it actually doesn't exist, but it costs a grand. Work that one out. See, that's what happens when you rush out laws in parliament without setting up a proper system. We've fallen into a gap/loophole that makes us "invalid".

What a bad and crushing day.

Edit: I'm sorry to swear. I need to let it out.
Have you contacted your MP? It might be worth it just to bring attention to what's happening.

Smile: Joan's funeral will have a red carpet for guests.

That makes me smile for some odd reason.

:P Went to three weddings in one week. I was best man in one - wife was a bridesmaid in the other two. Had some fun, but I'm exhausted and glad to be back home.

:P The other day someone visiting here inadvertently "locked" the garage door so the openers we keep in the cars became disabled. Did everything I could to remedy the issue, read a bunch of things online - no luck. This afternoon I let my 1 year old play with the all the buttons on the panel and everything works now.

We saw the movies, the specials, the stand-up, laughed through it all and didn't see the real pain. He may have spoken about it, but he hid its severity, and that's what made it so painful. It was right there and we, the general public, didn't know. Because he was so good at hiding it behind the laughter. That's what made it hurt and feel like it came out of left field. The laughter shielded the pain and we didn't see it coming.
crazy thing is this: I've talked to my wife numerous times in the past about Williams' non-comedy work. We've talked about Good Will Hunting (one of my favorite movies of all time) and how the brilliance of his work in that was his eyes. He had such a sadness in his eyes. So believable. It's devastating to think that maybe he wasn't acting.

Gorgeous. but she's pretty insane. When Jim Carrey calls you nuts, that says something.
Yo I just found out that Jenny is doing a show in my city in December. Pretty sure I wanna get tix for that!

Coincidentally, same venue I saw Joan Rivers.

This. I may not agree with you on a lot of your political views, but this is shitty. You should try every avenue you can, even if you're sceptical.

Good luck, I hope it all works out.

Yo Luke, from where is that picture taken? I swear that looks like the backyard of the house I lived in my second year of college.

Man. How not to sound like a d-bag?...

It's from my friend's vineyard in Asheville, NC.

He's an old friend, and a great friend at that. Not to give his name away, but as every dude named William Wallace, he claims to be related to William Wallace. He looks a lot more like Meatloaf, but the trend of naming kids Meatloaf has yet to catch on.

His family is stout and cherub like. Even his three month old daughter has legs of an old oak tree. Sturdy they are.

Couldn't cook a grilled cheese sandwich, but boy oh boy, they can make some red table wine. Not sweet nor thin. Legs that go on like Julia Roberts and a buttery finish that would make the Land o Lakes Indian blush.

The place has an A-Framed porch that makes me wish I enjoyed coffee (sans whiskey). It's flipping Disney like. My pal goes outside with his wife, mist all over, watches the sunrise with mug in hand, only to be greeted with smiling kids shouting "Daddy!" while overlooking that majestic view.

I'm not that far away, but I really admire my friends who wake up and think "I'll spend a few hours looking at my stuff". Vineyards, orchards, farms...etc. Great way to look at life. You either wake up to complete a chore or wake up with excitement and enthusiasm to work on something you love.

 No internet or TV at the house until Friday. So nothing to do between classes, and no way to do my homework unless I'm at school. I don't have anything to study currently, so nuts to do anything useful with my time.

I luckily have my 360, although replaying old games is dragging. I need to get something new, but I really want to get everything else 7th gen on PS3 besides the SHMUPS, so IDK what to do about that situation.
