You know that story, about how NASA spent millions of dollars developing this pen that writes in Zero G? Did you ever read that?
You know how the Russians solved the problem?

I don't recall being particularly impressed with prey. Stalker is ok (cheap now) but pretty hard. Supreme commander is supposed to be good. I loved fear (especially multiplayer)

STALKER is great. The atmosphere is really fantastic (especially in the labs). If you're willing to dip a little into the past I'd recommend you get Deus Ex off Steam. One of the best PC games ever.

Ive never played silent hunter so no comment on that.

Fear was alright, I never made it far in the story maybe to chapter 4. But it was fun I just had other things to play. I didnt like the multi to much. I guess cause I sucked at it but I always died in a few hits while the other guys would take a clip load.

Prey ive played the demo and the story seemed interesting, Its pretty cheap these days so go ahead and pick it up.

Never played Double Agent on the pc so no comment.

Supreme Commander is pretty fun if your into RTS games. I suck at them but I had fun with making a huge army and wiping out a easy ai.

Stalker was fun I didnt get far into it cause my jackass friend stole it and lost it. But from what I played it was hard, I would always try to break into the base near the beginning. Defiantly get it. Clear Sky also looks good I would like to get that one.

Here are some games you should try.

Unreal 3. The maps are beautiful. Some of the best Ive seen. The online community is really small but you should always be able to find a game. The single player is just bot matches with a story.

Company of Heroes is an amazing RTS. Its WWII so if you like WWII games and RTS this is a must. The story is the same as any WWII game. I haven't tried online yet, I am afraid of all the uber pros out there.

Call of Duty World at War. I just go this today and I jumped straight into the multilayer and its quite awesome. I was in a tactical server which has a bunch of different rules. If every one if following the rules this type of play is really fun.

Any Valve made game like Half life 2 or Left 4 Dead. Both are great check em out.

Raztat meant Unreal Tournament 3.

Also avoid Stalker and Splinter Cell Double Agent, unless you somehow enjoy games that dont function. Go back to Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Its the best one, and its an amazing PC port.

Fear was heavy on headshots and on what weapon you used. Say the sniper, as long as all 3 bullets hit you...anywhere, you were dead. Rocket Launcher could hit the ground at your feet....dead. Powerful weapons and headshots made that game :D

Stalker is pretty cool and bug-free. The only thing aggravating is the enormority of the world and the fact you have to run around to everything. I'm installing vampire bloodlines right now.
