After watching this, it sure has some interesting graphics and sound. YEAH!

oh yeah, the OST is great - the game itself, it's not at all what you're expecting when you go in. i was picturing something like robocop vs terminator or another side-scrolling action title, but instead it's a neat overhead one (a la Smash TV when it gets busy later on) but you're racing to rescue hostages before they get predator'd. it's so cool.

Sonic: Did my first full run! Total time came out to 24 minutes and 10 seconds. Of course, everything went wrong in this run. I don't think I nailed a single stage, aside maybe Star Light 2. Still, not a bad start, lots of room to improve. My current "best" time, if I add up individual stages, is 16 minutes and 33 seconds, so I know I can push this route to sub 20 at least.

Eliminate Down: Damn, this game is badass. Made it to stage 4 so far. Tons of shit happening on screen, nice colors, great music. The game uses a Thunder Force style weapon system, but in a much more simple form, so the game doesn't focus too much on "use this weapon here". In fact, you could probably get pretty far with just the forward shot, aside a few spots. Definitely cool to play this on original hardware, first time I've had that pleasure in over 3 years.

Undeadline: Holy shit this game is hard. The music is soo good.


I managed to play these in between crazy Lion King sessions that my girl was running. She is getting really into the game, and her consistency through the first 3 stages has skyrocketed within the last 2 days. Could not be more pleased than to sit and watch my lady tear this game up.

Been playing Herzog Zwei the last couple of days. I've had it for years now but due to it not coming with a manual I never took the time to learn how to play. I gotta say this game was really ahead of its time. Still blows my mind that a RTS this good came out on the Genesis back in '89!

I don't want to sound to rude, but did you not just sell your games again? An everdrive will play Master System games too man. And screw spending money on labels just play the games

Don't know how many times we have to keep repeating this.

I don't want an everdrive . I want the real deal. I like having physical copies of my games.

Trust me. An everdrive is worth it. I know you said you want the real deal. But going through the trouble of making labels, isn't really the real deal either.

Get an everdrive. Put a bunch of roms on it. This way, you can keep your hard copies in mint condition. play the games all you want. And pay for a cib game when you have sufficient funds. U r just losing money going through this buying and selling ans buying again cycle.

I don't want the ever drive period. I like having my wall of carts and playing actual games the way they are ment to be played. I have a 6 button genesis controller in my laptop if I want to play any Roms.
I have yes sold some of my rare gems to go to Hampton but I got them all back at the same price I sold them for. So it was really just a loan.
Also I'm getting a great deal coming to me from another member who sold a lot of gems really cheap s couple days ago and I'm so pumped to get

So unless I get an ever drive that is like ten-twenty dollars, I'm not bothering with it.
Now to add to the subject on a good note, I love air buster. I like verticle shmups like raiden but this air buster is freaking great. So far for shmups I got

hey, to each their own - i too love my wall of genesis carts - but i don't at all think putting rare stuff, prototypes, hacks etc onto a mega everdrive (much less not losing my saves, keeping high scores with save states etc) is akin to playing on a laptop, since that would be emulation and this is on proper hardware, so it's quite real/authentic.

again not knocking the satisfaction of popping in retail carts, but with respect to tastes & all, everdrives are not emulation. good luck with your list though man, some gems on that!

Maybe its just me, but fake labels would bug me the most. But the Genesis and it cousins are my pride and joy.

Agreed. Fake labels are kind of unless imo. Better using that money and time investing in another cart with a good label.

agreed. Most underrated thing about flash carts (imo), is that you rarely have to switch out carts. I still put my already owned games on the ed. Makes things faster and easier.
