I think the Smash franchise is overrated. It's a great game but some people will make it sound like it's the best thing since sliced bread.

I agree. The first was a wow impact, the second refined it great. Then you had the Wii release with the delayed reaction control, poorly tacked on 'adventure' and online that probably would have been better more often than not offline so it's not much good.

These dual releases of the year though look, at least on 3DS to be a solid offering especially with the kid icarus challenge slider for single player among other stuff, but it kind of makes the console version look less great outside of I'd think the die hard tournament type players.

I like the series enough, but it really is overrated since I feel it's more of a casual type fighter since it has such a basic to approach and execute move set. It's a big Nintendo and friends shoving match off the log on the river type thing.

I find in general gaming forums are ever full of rampant hyperbolisms. Especially when you've got concentrated fanboys of any one series. Hang out on NeoGAF sometime for the most extreme examples of this. I wish I could still get that excited over video games.

Seeing as I've never fully played smash, I'll have to say betty white....she's still funny even in her 90-something era

Here's an unpopular opinion: Mega Man Soccer kind of sucks. I get all the customization and it's cool seeing Mega Man and enemies in a sports game but the actual game play is extremely tedious.
