Gran Turismo PSP shows up on the Vita PSN for me but in my download list it still says it can't be downloaded to a PSVita. Weird.

You could try downloading it to a PS3 and then moving it over.

No PS3 and certainly not going to buy one for it. I know that method does work for the game though.

I just find it odd that it's now on the PSVita's PSN when it previously wasn't. A game that isn't compatible shouldn't show up right? Perhaps compatibility is coming soon.

You're in luck if you have a Japanese PS+ account.

250 PSP games are free for PS+ subs

I'm just waiting for the store to update with Danganronpa 2.

And it's still bullshit that they advertise PSP games on the US store that you can't actually play on the system.

You can play some, not all. Mimana iyar is a psp game last I checked and playable on vita...(and fun as heck if I say so myself even though I keep letting myself stop playing it for too long  ). That game though would benefit from using the analog for camera and becoming truly 3d...

Debating whether to buy Danganronpa 2 today. I feel like I should play some other games first. Still debating that SAO game too. Despite not being a huge fan of the anime the game looks kinda fun.

Time for another "what's comin' to USA Vita that actually matters"* update:

Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!! 9/23/14
Natural Doctrine 9/30/14
Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus 10/14/14
The Wolf Among Us 10/21/14
Freedom Wars 10/28/14
Tales of Hearts R 11/11/14
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd 11/18/14
Walking Dead Season 2 12/31/14
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation 1/27/15
Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters 2/28/15

Pretty much can't wait for Natural Doctrine... I'll likely play it as soon as I get it.

*By this I mean stuff that's getting a physical release and looks interesting to... me.

Finally they have a release date for Project Diva F. My wife is gonna do backflips for a touchscreen version of that game.

Project DIVA F is already out on Vita (digital only). It's F 2nd on the way.

Not trying to be pedantic btw, just wasn't sure if you know.

Will Sony release the likes of Uncharted or Killzone on Vita ever again? Probably not, Gara said. "But what we are excited by is the number of games we can take to the platform that have been created for other platforms.

Sony says Vita's not dead, because they expect it to survive as a port machine.
"It's trucking along," he said. "It's currently in year-on-year growth and enjoying a healthy year, and it's about to hit its biggest and potentially most powerful release of the year, which is Minecraft. That could be an extraordinary release for Vita.
Really? Phantasy Star Nova isn't more extraordinary? Oh wait, he meant that about the other 99% of the world that doesn't speak Japanese.

My poor gaijin Vita.
