One example would be the supposedly better screen quality, and the 3D is supposed to be much more usable? I have no first hand experience, of course.

Let's hope it is, that would be stupid to remove it since 3ds is still technically ds(not as weird now looking back for them to remove gba as it would be to remove ods compatibility)...

No need to hope. It's already confirmed.

Well not knowing of that notice from Nintendo it's a good concern, look at the DSi as it kicked the GBA out.

I'm interested to see how well the remodeled 3D works so it's not so easy to blur out. I'd like to see a hard confirmation on them doing as they did in the past by maxing out existing parts speed wise and tossing more RAM in to back it up. Nintendo is king of cheap, no way they went with another chip/remodel for an upgrade and not new hardware.

Just for reference: What makes you people happy?
As far as the New 3DS goes, this would have made me happy:

I'm planning to talk about it on my blog later when I get the time. But the shoop I put together shows the basics well enough.
That button placement looks really awkward. Having them so low down looks uncomfortable considering how the majority of games want to have your fingers on them full time.

The way the normal 3DS is, the d-pad is very low on the left side. I've never read of that being an issue. Why then would it matter if the buttons were lowered on the other side? I don't think it'd be a problem.
