What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

That is mostly true. If, however, a vast majority of the U.S. House of Representatives, a vast majority of the Senate, and an overwhelming majority of the state were in a favor of a particular state leaving the Union, we could make it happen. It would likely require amending the U.S. Constitution, but, conceivably at least, we could kick a state out of the Union against its will.

EDIT: Thinking about it, it would be pretty funny if all the states ganged up and kicked a place like Kansas or Missouri out of the union against its will.
On a poll I saw, comparing how people across the nation viewed different states and such, the most popular one to be kicked out was Texas, followed by Louisiana, I believe.

As much is going on around the world right now, I'm surprised there hasn't been states that wanted to break away or some such.

I drove it off the motherfucker and lived to tell the tale.

Because I had Life Alert, obviously.

I'm going to start applying to colleges next month and It feels weird. On on hand I love the idea of moving out and on to another part of life and on the other hand I'm kind of nervous and scared of the uncertainty that comes with it. Not to mention that apply is nerve racking by itself. It kind of feels like a roller coaster ride. You're scared shitless but in a good way.

Yeah, oxy, that's a lot of what adult life is like. You'll feel this way for college. When you near graduation, you'll feel this way again. Buying a car, buying a house, seeking a job, having a kid, attending grad school or trade school...all of it will bring this kind of feeling. I don't know if you ever get used to the uncertainty, but you learn to handle some of it better over time. You'll be ok.

Its a lot easier than it seems man. I can say that. Also, make sure to watch those dates man. I might not have got in at A&M if I hadn't gotten lucky sending a letter when my transcript arrived late.

I'd also say to balance how much you worry about it- you need to worry some, but don't be overboard about it.
