Its all over the place on what is "good" for it, depending on what kind of pieces you want and from what era. I really wanted all of the Viking sets, but being that they only came out in Europe, and didn't sell that well (at least from what I understand, I may be wrong). So the prices are sky high on those.
I'd also note that anything in the various Castle series tend to go for high prices.

Thanks, added that lot to my watch list.Tanooki wrote:So true, I always think back to that Family Guy scene where Peter gives Lois crap for not buying Legos and getting him Mega Blocks, and she's like there's no difference and he nags her that there is.
And there is.
It's good to know your formula, I hadn't seen that one where .10cent/piece = $100 for 1000 pieces. I saw this bulk lot of stuff, I think it has a few mini guys this one big ebay seller with a perfect record does where it's 1000 pieces for $50~ shipped. That doesn't sound so bad at that. The only downer is it's a stock image --> http://www.ebay.com/itm/1000-WASHED-SAN ... 3f2cfd0632

I did an accounting of what I have, 6 sets, that's all.
Only two of those are really old too, 1980s old. The Black Seas Barracuda and Shipwreck Island from the original year of the Pirates run. Beyond that what other stuff I have is modern. The Indiana Jones little set from Last Crusade with the guard gate, 2 bikes and 3 minifigs. Then I have this still unbuilt 2003 set of the Mining 4X4 which has some unique pieces. And the other two are those teeny Creator kits 31000 which is a car (+2) and then the 31015 Emerald Express which is a steam engine. Everything I've got, big boat aside is all small stuff in the under 100 pieces (except Mining that's 102.) I don't have a lot of room at all to display stuff as my shelves are loaded with antique/vintage toys and video games.
I built the little creator car earlier this week, kept it whole for like 2 days then tore it down. I just found it relaxing messing with the parts. I did do the flea market today and saw nothing at all except some lame mega blocks at one spot thrown in a bag all dirty. There were 2 sets in 50% off clearance at the Meijer but I have no interest in an old ninjago set or iron man 3.
