Ever feel like you can't score with your 2600? Just put your stick in some wood.

Just in case you're interested, how about this Wu-Tang PS1 controller only released in Europe for their Shaolin style fighting game?
Ah yes, the "Wood Age" of gaming...too bad they couldn't hook one of these bad boys up in a wood-paneled station-wagon Pimp My Ride-style.

So I just figured out how to have my PS3 user auto log on when I turn the system on (I have multiple user accounts). I suppose I always figured you could, but never bothered to check or find out how to. I finally got sick of having to power on then wait a few seconds to press X or enter.

I'm just wondering does anyone here have access to archeage? I keep hearing about that one and kinda want to try a sandbox mmo and supposedly that one will be one if it comes out of beta any time soon. I'll still play one or two regular mmos and my normal other games but mmo's are a small interest I had that I almost completely forgot about until i started thinking about how much I missed playing swtor a week or so ago. But archeage actually sounds pretty interesting for some odd reason...

That's a good model - when I jumped in late I also grabbed a 500gb slim. Plenty of room. Enjoy.

Do you, or anyone else, know what the best model of 360 is to get? Insofar as being roomy and being least prone to the dreaded RROD?

Has there been a better MLB game since MVP 2005 on the PC?

Not that I've played so far.

Still super disappointed with the Left 4 Dead series. No campaign? No thank you.

I have the Gears of War 360 like this

It is kinda like the Slim PS3. I think they worked out all the kinks by that generation. It is the one I would go for. It also has a huge Hard Drive and it is removable/upgradeable like the PS3 as well

Depends on how you want to hook it up, but it's fairly similar to the PS3.

There are three major revisions to the system - the original case, the model S, and currently the model E.

The originals have several motherboard revisions, with the earliest lacking HDMI. Unless you're trying to get one with an early firmware for modding, there's no point to going with one of these. They're the RRoD prone ones, just like the fat PS3s are the YLOD prone models.

In addition to addressing the RRoD issues, the model S rolls in Wifi, and has a single cord solution for a Kinect if you want to use one. One thing that they didn't really revise is the AV setup - it still has the original AV multi-out, along with an HDMI port. While there are some annoyances if you're trying to use HDMI video + audio from the AV multi-out (either need to trim off part of the AV cable, or seek out an audio-only adapter), it's still actually possible to get S-video, or component, or run HDMI + optical audio, etc.

The model E is largely similar to the model S, but the AV setup is reduced to HDMI, and a mini-jack that only has a composite/stereo RCA cable available.

Arguably, that makes the model S a bit more flexible and desirable, similar to how the PS3 Slim might be seen as nicer relative to the Super Slim. However, if you're just going to plug the system in with HDMI anyway, then it's not that big a deal.

The Show. Any year.

And it is a bit unfair to compare L4D to games with a campaign since that's not how it was designed. That's like saying "I'm disappointed in Wolfenstein 3D because you can't see the rooms from an overhead perspective like you could in the earlier games". That's just not the point.

Thanks for your information (and yours SirGawain). I think the Model E will work for me fine, since my HDTV setup is all HDMI already.

The funny thing is I already have lots of 360 games as I've been collecting them for years in anticipation of buying the console. I've had people come over and say "hey cool man you've got that let's play that". And I'm like "I don't actually have a 360". Then they just look at me like I'm insane.
